Drew this while role playing with Gohan (bro bro is back!!! OMG, I missed him sooo much ><
I was going through my old art and through my side7 gallery when I came across old art that I loved the pose but never finished. This was one of them: [link] (warning, I used to scan my art VERY BIG >< I still do. Learning to scan smaller but higher res) I drool over how I have improved (and the hot guys). Bro bro drooled at how good Saitoh looks with his hair and morning after beard Short story: The guys behind the characters are, personally, great friends of mind from one time in my life to another. Two I don't speak to anymore, one I ocassionally talk to, and one is Josh (pokes the bro man) The characters themselves have influenced and loved my character, Li Chi, as well. I remember this picture being how the characters had currently looked at that time when the old RP was slowly dying off and it jsut became me and bro running it for the two of us. Great times for all. Really great times and memories. I heart you all, past and present. from left to right: Zaltite (earth elemental guard uniform), Saitoh (god in human form), Finn (psychotic elf), Divim Reborn (protector of the multiverse) Enjoy. Zaltite, Saitoh, Finn, Divim Reborn all copyright Li Chi. Don't steal you buggers. |

Or as I call you, neo Marky Mark!

Okay, I'll do one of those redline things for this picture, and add my crappy attempts of teaching anatomy to it.

I tried! I dunno if it's helpful, tho. Overall, I'd say that looking at figures is a great way to get your proportion skills developed. Keep in mind the distance between certain parts of the body in corespondence with the other parts (Like when the arms of a person are laying to the side of the body, the elbows are lined up at the belly button, for example. Art has a good bit to do with measurement and math, actually)
